A day to remember the Twenty Six Martyrs of Japan. In 1597 twenty six Roman Catholics were executed by crucifixion in Nagasaki. Apparently, they were thought to be a threat to society. Which made me think of words that have been filling my mind recently ...

"seek the peace and prosperity of the city to which I have carried you ... for if it prospers, you too will prosper."

The threats we are to bring to our neighbourhoods are ones of peace and prosperity. Here goes .....
