Watching me watching him

After a few very nice days of hiking in the mountains, I was eager to return home to look for "my" herons. I could only get in a quick walk before a thunderstorm came, but in that short time I saw a Great Blue Heron, many Great Egrets (clustered together in a tree), and this Yellow-crowned Night-Heron, catching and eating crabs.
