Carmageddon

Visiting friends in Edinburgh this afternoon, finding a parking space took about twenty minutes. The problem is that old tenements don't come with any parking spaces apart from parking along the street and more and more people get cars as it's relatively cheap. If the council won't invest in more multi storey car parks, rather than selling land for more and more and more student flats, city centre will clog with parked cars very soon - there were cars double parked everywhere, barely leaving any space to drive past.
