St Brigid's Day

Being the first of February I went hunting wild rushes to make some crosses. My preferred choice was a pagan/Christian site so it took a while to find this fairy tree in a boggy field with a carpet of rushes outlining the ditches. Got enough to see me through for another year....Would have been nice to have had company but seemingly people are busy on the first day of the Celtic Spring.....just saying
