Thirsty Work!

We were both having a laugh tonight at the number of different TINY birds that had been in and out of the bird bowls all day today.  It's been another scorcher and we have filled the bowls twice over the last few hours.  And yes the Gang Gangs came again around 7.30pm and put on quite a show, but then there was this black and yellow beauty.  This time I had my zoom lens on and just managed to get this pic of our thirsty visitor.

I have been blipping so many shots of the bowls lately, but we have been confined to barracks pretty much while we both recover from a very torrid time health wise for CCN over the past 8 to ten weeks.  The birds have been a great distraction for us and have brought us a lot of joy along the way.  I hope you're enjoying the show as well.
