28 Shades of Grey # 5

You'll never guess what happened today! 

Me and HER did get into the car, all excited, and we set off to go for a walk round the lake.  We hadn't driven more than 20 metres when it was spitting with rain, and by the time we got to the Park Gates it was buck-wetting down - well, raining steadily at any rate.  Too hard to go for a walk.

So we did have to turn around and come right back home again.  At which point I climbed three steps up the stairs, sighed deeply and went to sleep.

There wasn't anything else to do.
