Sunday morning at Snells
Out for an early morning run along Erceg's Way, the path that runs almost the full length of Snells Beach, an estimated 2km from South to North. The same coming back, unsurprisingly. I was in time to see the sun emerge from behind clouds, before again being covered by other clouds, higher above the horizon.
This afternoon, we have been joined by C and her two boys, Mr H and Young L. The boys and I have had a swim, and collected some pieces of oyster shell. It is now almost time to start the BBQ for dinner.
Tomorrow, New Zealand will mark the signing of the Treaty of Waitangi, which set out the agreement between Maori and the British. Honoured more in the breach, perhaps, for many years, it is now an integral element in the way our country manages its affairs.
