£97 to go

A couple of us have signed up for the moonwalk in London in May in aid of Breast Cancer.

Its a marathon 26.2 miles, it's as the title suggests a walk, as its through the night so we'll see the moon.

I did Edinburgh last year so it will be nice to do London this year.

We pledge to raise £100 for the charity so today I began my raising.

I am asking people I know for £1 only, if they choose to give more I will be delighted but equally thrilled with a £1. Also no offense if people have other charities they support and are not able to give, we all have our own reasons for giving or not giving.

Today I was telling people of my intention of asking for £1 and immediately they gave, but what was nice was someone overheard me saying my intention and they too came over and gave me a £1. So I have raised £3 with little effort. Only £97 to go.
