Little chef

We've had nice relaxed day today. We pottered about in our PJ's this morning. P dressed up as chef and made a picnic lunch for us all on the playroom floor. It was Sven the reindeers birthday apparently so we all had to sing and have a slice of cake!

We had a trip to B&Q a bit later on. We got some paint tester pots for the dining room and hallway along with bird feeders for the garden. We get so many more birds here than we used too at the old house. The children have begun to enjoy watching them and learning what they all are.

This afternoon I got busy in the garden. It was lovely and warm in the sunshine and after raking up leaves and pulling up weeds I definitely didn't need my coat. The children entertained themselves drawing with chalks on the patio and playing on the slide. The garden looks much better now after a good tidy up.

P cooked tea for us all tonight using her 'I can cook' book. She made pizza's and even made the dough for the base, followed by individual baked raspberry cheesecakes. It was all really yummy and she was so pleased with her new found skill.
