'Beautiful Day'

Today started off cloudy and wet. We went to the garden centre for coffee and cake and to look for a new climbing Rose. Last year my lovely Rose 'New Dawn' suddenly died.....it was 22 years old. Pete took ages digging the roots out. Consequently we are left with a large expanse of trellis to cover. Not much for sale yet...but I've narrowed it down to three choices...all David Austin. I want strong fragrance, disease resistant and repeat flowering. At the moment it's 'The Generous Gardener' at the top of the list. The sun came out and the most beautiful clouds started to appear...this is taken in the overflow car park. So nice to see the sky today!
