Celtic Connections 2017

Not a good photo, for which I apologise, but I chose it because it shows the sort of atmosphere that is typical of Celtic Connections - a festival of traditional and folk music that appeals to all ages. The concert hall was buzzing!

At the afternoon concert that friend June and I attended, we were once again left in awe at the talent of the young musicians. It's uplifting to know that so many are inspired to carry on playing, and writing, that genre of music.

I've added an equally bad extra, showing an elderly experienced accordion-playing gent passing on some tips to a younger learner.
