CALIBRATION TIME

For some time now, I've read articles and watched videos by professional photographers and they all say that you must calibrate your monitor. Well, I've put it off for quite some time now, but finally taken the plunge and bought an X-rite i1 Display Pro Colorimeter. Here it is in action doing its stuff. It has toned the brightness down somewhat and warmed the colours very slightly. If anyone has any experience of these things, please let me know!
