Not Just Another Drop in the Ocean

Today has been a gentle day...

Himself bounced out of bed and did his exercise machine, I lay and declared that I was  moving, although obviously I wasn't.  Eventually I did and we headed off - Himself and Tooli to oil, air and petrol her car, and me to Chemist for toiletries.

Do you know something... there is a car parked in the car park where the chemist is, which I spotted as having been abandoned in May last year.    I spotted it again in June (It hadn't moved, I just realized it was still there).  In July I phoned the 101 Police number.    In August I called it again.  The nice man on the end of the phone said he could see my original call and that he had told the DVLA and it was their responsibility to remove it .

and now, it's February.

And it's still there.

It's a nice car.  It must have been someones.   It's got a flat rear tyre. - and kind people keep leaving notes on the car pointing out that driving with a flat tyre is not advised.   Other people haven't noticed that the car is covered in Dried Seagurl Shite, which was what originally drew my attention to it.

In other news, Tooli drove to Edinburgh for a Volleyball match; got to Edinburgh and discovered the other car with the other gals in it had crashed - they were all okay and so the match was cancelled and they had to drive back.

And I took a wee trip to the Harbour to look at the sun set and examine Lady Isle with my telescope.   It was very lovely; but vair, vair cold.
