....I woke at 6.30am feeling slightly disapointed that Alice had failed to put in an appearance. She blew her opportunity to convert a disbeliever.

An interesting meeting with a client who is likely to dump us soon, but they seemed pleased with the crash course in new legislation I delivered. Perhaps if they do dump us, they may come back again in the future as we're parting on reasonably good terms.

Relatively pleasant train journey home chatting to young tourists from Essex, heading to Edinburgh for some culture. Can't blame them.
