FlowerFriday3 Lavender roses

Pictured today are the roses that formed the background for my  abstract yesterday.  I bought them from Sainsbury's yesterday and was attracted by their unusual colour.

I didn't manage to take any decent shots of Violet today as she was constantly on the move, not even having a nap after Tumble Tots, although she did have a little snooze just before teatime.  The light was too poor then to get a decent shot as by late afternoon the heavy grey clouds and rain had returned.
