Busy day

Arthur and I had such a busy day just sort of pottering about, first we headed to our baby massage course and today was the face, he really enjoyed it and was chattering and wiggling away.

Then we needed to go feed the beast with some yummy diesel, filling up the car a boring but necessary job.

Then onto Mothercare as I wanted to get some 'sock ons', magic things that are means to do the impossible and keep baby socks on! Actually Arthur is pretty good with his socks I've come realise it's the actual sock that's the problem, his lovely socks from Joules stay on perfectly as do his socks from Morrisons but Tescos socks nope not having it, so lets hope the sock ons do the trick. While we were there we nipped into the feeding room for Arthur's lunch (I was in need of his expert boobie drainage service and couldn't wait until the next phase of our outing). I also totally couldn't resist a gorgeous Peter Rabbit outfit for him, it was a little expensive and I'd picked it up and put it back a few times but in the end I thought sod it he is starting to out grow things and we can't have a naked Arthur. So imagine my surprise when my bill came to less than what the outfit was meant to cost alone, I call that a result. Just wished they'd actually marked items as on sale as maybe I would have brought a bit more.

Now handily there is a costa near Mothercare so we headed over for 'yummy mummy' time. Costa are very welcoming to breastfeeding mothers (and bottle feeding mothers but everywhere accepts bottle fed, it's sad that those of us who breast feed actually need a law to protect our right to feed our children). They are always super lovely bring my order over to me, doesn't matter which store I visit. Today treat was my normal gingerbread latte and a yummy cornflake cake.

On our way back home we nipped into Waitrose to buy some bottom butter as I've heard so many good things about it and it's cloth nappy safe (some creams can damage cloth nappies by coating the fibres) I've also heard it makes the best hand cream and my hands are so very dry.

Then we went to the local leisure centre and signed Arthur up to start swimming lessons, we start Monday and I am really excited.

Last job was nipping into the chemist to pick up prescriptions.

And phew finally home.

Nappy change, play time and then a nap.
