Souvenir From Thailand

My wife picked up this small box from a market in Thailand. Like a lot of souvenirs that we pick up, they're cheep and have plenty of appeal. But when you get them home, what do you do with them?
This box has been sitting in our kitchen since we got home and unpacked it. I think tonight when I photographed it I was the first human contact it's had since it arrived in the UK.
This sad little wooden handicraft is in desperate need of a loving home...
