Fence line down by the river
Blipmate and I wandered round the riverbank finding all sorts of grass seeds and wild flowers. Made a change to the sea.
It is the Motueka River which is a good trout fishing stream. We are on the east bank looking to the west. The river has given us our very fertile soils of course and stop banks give us protection from those times when it floods and aturns into a raging torrent.
Plenty of dry grass too. I like the pale sepia? colour of the grass. The fence is a bit of practice for hobbs widwed leading lines without the twist.
