Fields of Gold

Busy day at work today,
New students appear to be settling in well.

Came home late and sat on settee and had tea.
Time got away from me and next thing I sense the light is going and tinges of orange in the sky. Not a good sign as our windows face east, so the sun is low to be throwing colour this high in sky..
So dashed out to the car and headed west up onto the dual carriageway towards Westhill so I was driving towards the rapidly fading light.
Took this photo from the Blackburn Road looking towards Westhill.
There is sufficient elevation here to catch the light as it dips down into the haugh of Alford. Six shots and the light was gone. None of them great compositionally but at least we have a dramatic sky.
