A Game of Patience. Water Rail at Inverleith Pond.

A regular winter visitor to Inverleith Pond, the water rail made an appearance today. It is generally very elusive, and my last attempta couple of weeks ago just resulted in a blurred picture of its rear end. The water plants have died back and there is more sun shine. I manage to get a couple of shots before it disappeared in to the longer vegetation.

Patience pays off.

Back blipped a lot of stuff tonight. Thankfully I had already edited the pictures, it was just a matter of thinking what I wanted to write about.
