A busy day on the beach

We woke to a tropical storm, which soon passed, so we sat in bed with a cup of tea and were joined by a couple of birds, of the feathered variety, who decided to take advantage of the sachets of sugar sitting on the coffee table in our bedroom.

After breakfast we walked up the hill towards the French Embassy, passing within eight feet of a large Egret, intent on catching an early lunch.

Back in time to grab the last two sunchairs by the small pool, which overlooks the beach and concentrate on some serious people watching.

The pelican keeps evading my camera but there are lots of Turnstones wandering the beach and even venturing into the restaurant for breakfast. It's all go.
