Plastered!

The Chuckle Brothers ( as we call them, we being everyone working on the renovation ... except possibly the two boys themselves who may not know they have a nick name ) have been busy these past two days. They've begun the job of plastering the wall that runs up the spiral staircase. It looks good already, even in its initial rough state. The photos on the left are the after pics, on the right shows the lovely Artex that has been covered over! There's no fire escape now as each flat is swathed in fire-proof plasterboard, which means an external staircase is no longer required.

The boys are twins but luckily they wear different coloured hats! They got their nick name because they're always cheerful, regardless of how the job's going. However, they were moving something about the other day and I heard one say " move it your way a bit " and I almost called " to me, to you " !!
