Wallace Monument

Much to my shame I have never been here before today.  I had a meeting nearby at Stirling University campus, but had just enough time to walk the steep incline to look at the monument, though not enough time to go inside. It's difficult to get a good photo from below as there are a lot of trees in the way.  And close up the angles are distorted. The tower is extraordinarly ornate, as Victorian Gothic monuments are.
