No Fishing today!

The storm has been rising since I took this photograph this morning. It became much worse. There are usually people fishing at the lighthouse, but not today! 
I watched the sea coming over the sea wall and wave by wave it drenched all the cars parked on the South Esplanade. I took a detour as I didn't want to drive through the waves. 
Strangely the ferries were cancelled ;) The extra shows how choppy it is even inside the shelter of the harbour. All the rescue boats safely tied up.
We didn't see the little people today as their grandma is visiting from Surrey this weekend. Friday hasn't felt quite the same.
