A bit windy

W was in the middle of some work she had to do this afternoon and didn't want to be disturbed, so as I was a bit bored I took myself off to the local nature reserve which is around an old flooded brick quarry. Not a great deal to see but as the wind was getting up the turbine was going ten to the dozen. When you get right up next to it, it's surprising how big it looks and what a noise the blades make as they go round. It's also a little disconcerting standing right under the blades and looking up; you certainly get a feel that if one of them failed you wouldn't stand a chance!
