Dali Clock?

Clock: Take a photo of a time-telling device.

Day 28 of missymoo's August challenge and I have plenty of subjects in my house from Waterford Crystal, alarm clocks, wall clocks for garden and kitchen, and the digital ones found on virtually every household applicance today.

This one is the garden clock, which due to laziness on my part, is hanging rather too close to the thermometer. For something different I tried some post-processing in PS Elements, and converted the shot using polar co-ordinates, an effect I've been meaning to try for some time. I was rather surprised by the result which reminded me of
Dali's melting clocks in his painting The Persistence of Memory.
