Wearing the apricot

Anyone visiting me on here regularly will know that I am something of a parkrun addict. Two of the very best things about parkrun is that it is absolutely free to take part in, and open to everyone. However, that doesn't mean it costs nothing to sustain the organisation behind the events. Funding is provided by a number of generous sponsors, and one way that participants can contribute (if they wish) is by buying branded merchandise such as the apricot parkrun running top. The proportion of runners sporting one of these on a Saturday morning seems to be growing rapidly at the moment. Mine arrived in the post this morning.
