Cardinal at Dusk

I managed to get home just before dark, courtesy of the lengthening days. There were 2 cardinals sitting in the crabapple. They are always the last birds at the feeder in the evening. I thought "what the heck , let's try " .Of course as soon as I went out the door they flew to the top of the tree, making a bad shot even worse. So hastily grabbing 8 shots before they flew off.... this was the best of them . I suspect I will be frustrated  till spring and longer days.
