Galanthus Lapwing - day 2 of 33 days of freedom

Today began with a fast and furious spin class, but ended more peacefully with our next door neighbour invited for dinner.

In between, Houblon and me visited the snowdrop display at the Chelsea Physic garden. I had no idea there are about 2,000 varieties of snowdrop. Luckily the rain held off while we were there, although it was pretty cold. I love this garden, which still had a lot of interest in the winter. What I hadn't realised is that the rent is still only £5 per annum - as arranged by Hans Sloane in perpetuity. Given house prices in Chelsea, this is amazing, and amusing.
