Hamburger Bahnhof
Another packed day today.
We started off with a visit to the always excellent Hamburger Bahnhof Gallery. Sadly there wasn't a great deal on in terms of temporary exhiibitions but the permanent collections there are always good.
After that we stopped for a bit of lunch then I took the students down to see the Brandenburg Gate and the Holocaust Memorial. From there we were booked in for a trip up the dome at the Reichstag. We had a break for dinner after that and I met up with Roz, who flew in today then onto the opening of this year's Transmediale. The exhibition stuff was way better than last year and the majority of the students stayed on until the bitter end, although the stall giving away free bottles of Brooklyn beers may have helped on that count.
We also caught up with Fiona and Rainer, colleagues from a college here in Berlin who we met last year and who are going to bring a few of their Students over to Scotland later in the year. A few of their students came out too.
IT was a great way to end a great day.
