How completely amazing is it?

All of the animals were astonishing - but i especially adored the chimps and orangs.

Several years ago my mate K and I took an early morning flight from Prestwick (when they had more than four flights a week) to Bournemouth; jumped in a hire car; and drove the twenty miles thru the snow, yes SNOW to Monkey World!

We had been before but amazingly cheap
Flights and an adoration for orangs had dragged us back!

As soon as we arrived we bumped into Jeremy, the Animal Director we knew and loved from the TV show! We had a hug and then we almost ran all the way to the orang nursery.

The baby orangs are amazing: especially with their adoptive mother Amiee - she taught them everything and was interested in everything we had.

She was delighted to look through our bags - and was especially animated when she spotted our cameras pointing to it, and i swear she smiled ! And when we put lipstick on, she puckered up and blew kisses!

There's so much more going on behind those eyes than we will ever know!

The BBC is wonderful! And using David Tennant as a voice over was a stroke of genius!
