This is an exhibit from the "Materials" section of the British Science museum.

It was created with the objective of using as many materials as possible. It's the world's largest composite sandwich containing 213 layers, each 6 mm thick and uses over 2000 different types of material.

It's construction used advanced computer programs and precision cutting equipment. The computer programme alone took four months to write.

The wind was beginning to strengthen as I left London and headed home.
