Room with a view

and a great view it was if only I had more time to look at it. Taken from my hotel bedroom as I dropped my things before heading back out to work this was the last glimpse of it before the sun went down. We were running an evening meeting and I won't tell you where I was with this view but as a big clue this is the Isle of Eigg and the Isle of Rhum in the distance. Points for a correct guess as to where I was staying.

Very late back to the room after the meeting followed by a quick G&T in a local pub.

My confession is that the hotel gave me a room at the back to start with which felt like I was in the coal cellar. As there were only 4 of us in this big hotel I complained and they upgraded me to this room with a view. I rarely complain about anything but in this case it paid off. Why on earth have all the good rooms empty and put folk in the back rooms. My colleagues wished they had complained too!
