What a difference a day makes!

What a beautiful day! No rain!!

Decided the hedge could wait, and took ourselves off to Roundhay Park

First a look at the Alhambra Gardens, and the newly finished garden, which is a replica of the 2011 Chelsea Gold Medal winning entry, from Leeds Parks.
The centre piece is an old water mill. Unfortunately the sun wasn't in the right place and the photos didn't turn out too good, so will have to blip that another day.

Next a nice cup of coffee on the terrace of the Mansion House, over looking the park.
A beautiful view. Would be a stunning location for a wedding!

Then a walk round the lakes. The sun glistening on the water was breathtaking.
This photo is a Mrs duck and one of her brood. A bit late for such little ducklings I thought.
You can see how the water is sparkling.

Oh and we did manage to get the hedge cut when we got home, so a good day all round!

Weather tomorrow sounds as if it is back to the usual! So glad we were able to make the most of today.
