Sydney
We were picked up from our hotel at 8.15am for the 90 minute journey to Brisbane Domestic terminal for our mid-day flight to Sydney. On the way we entertained by an 81 year old Robin Williams look-alike (if he'd have lived to that age!), with his wife, who were travelling to Canada for month on a ski-ing holiday. Not their first trip there. I only hope I've the go in me at that age to do things like that!
After being dropped off at our hotel in Double Bay, we settled in and went out about 7.30pm to grab a bite to eat and find the local railway station (Edgecliffe). It was dark and raining. We found a Sub-Way sandwich bar next to the station for a cheap meal.
The blip photo was taken off the road outside. I like the multi-coloured lights and reflections from the wet road. The area is quite different to The Gold Coast in that it's quite leafy, and there is an abudance of older buldings. It's very nice.
