I have taken better photos of other things today. 

But I quite like this as a record shot, as this scene will be different next month.

The Ordsall Chord scheme is progressing, which will see a new rail link connecting Victoria and Piccadilly stations in Manchester for the first time.  

The Corten arch is now in place, ready to be lifted onto the new bridge deck over the Irwell. All it needs is a huge crane to arrive and be assembled, capable of lifting it in place in one big (controlled I hope) heave. It will have to fit the struts which are already in place either side of the bridge deck. 

This is like a lego assembly operation on a gigantic scale.
