Compromise

Ripley doesn't like being manoeuvred into the car crate any more, I think, because it is uncomfortable.

I don't want to risk him falling off the rear seat if I stop suddenly so today he travelled in the footwell.

It was only a short ride to the vet for his weekly weigh in and he was snoozing with his head on the seat by the time we got home.

For now, it will work for us both.
