Hello, Deer!

This morning we took Rona on a slightly different route through the woods in order to avoid the mud churned up by the forestry people. Didn't quite work out that way; Rona was belly deep in mud and Mag went in well over her ankles in deep gooey mud. The local horse riders have churned the path so much it is almost impassable. Lovely! :-(
However, we caught these two - on camera of course - in a field alongside the wood. The timber operations have made the deer rather skittish and they took one look and zoomed off a half second after taking this.
Having had two good walks today, I have a third to come - following the lawn mower up and down the grass. Wish me luck! :D
