* Feeling proud that my state, the first one to file a lawsuit seeking to block Trump's executive order on immigration, has been joined by three other states -- New York, Massachusetts, and Virginia.

* Reading Lindy West's opinion article (January 31) in the U.S. edition of The Guardian. Here's the superb concluding paragraph: "You cannot make women forget what it feels like to have careers, to thrive and excel, to earn money and choose our own futures.
