Error: No memory card

I went out today with DSLR and lenses to get my Blip.  As I crossed a footbridge over the Water of Leith I came eye-to-eye with a magpie in a tree. I have photographed all kinds of birds but have never got a good shot of a magpie. They are shy birds.  Got the camera out and locked on the 70-300 (+1.5 crop factor!), switched on the beast and....    ...memory card is still in the PC.  

They say you live and learn.  The number of times this has happened to me makes me wonder!   

Run today.  Direct approach and over the top of Arthur's Seat.  Third similar run in the past 6 days and it felt a little easier today.  Only about 6 weeks till our first trail running event in The Lake District.  A - are you training?!!!  ;-)
