It started so well....

They promised sunshine and when I woke up, there it was! Plan was to walk Chester round the lake and spend the rest of the day in the garden (some tidying and finishing my book)
My plan was soon to change when a herd of not so friendly looking cows was blocking the kissing gate. I wasn't going to attempt to shift them!!
So we didn't make it round the lake, but still enjoyed our sunny walk. Blip is from the top field and the millenium bench. It has all sorts of animals carved into it and little ones spend ages finding them all.
By the time I got home there was very little sunshine to be had, so I spent only very little time in the garden. Not quite the summers day I had in mind, but a pretty good day nonetheless!
