Early morning

I woke this morning around 5.30 to find light streaming in through windows where we had forgotten to close the curtains. I got up, went out onto the balcony and saw the sky on fire. Of course, if I had gone down to the sea it might have been more wonderful still, but that would have meant opening doors and gates and waking everyone up, so I had to be satisfied with a photo taken from the balcony. I never see the sunrise properly at home, so this was a real treat. And the day turned out as glorious as was promised by this sky.
