Der Wasserspeier

I walked down to the market a different way, along a road I usually speed* along in the car and noticed this guy guarding the gateway to an ordinary looking house - well, ordinary if the houses along your road have gargoyles at the gate to a nondescript semi, a sleep-walking gnome on top of the porch and a 3 foot tall black cat next to it...don't worry, I'll provide the evidence in later blips!

Really not sure about the translation of wasserspeier for gargoyle as to me that implies spitting/spewing (trust me) of water and not all gargoyles do that, although I guess they did originally.



* got the speeding tickets to prove it!
