Oh the weather was truly awful today! Squally rain, windy, cold....I was so happy not to be going anywhere and having visitors instead!

First up it was two ex -work colleagues from a few years back, Anne and Anne what a team we were...easy to remember our names too! Anne, Anne and Diane!!! :))! It was their first visit since we moved house so they wanted the grand tour. Thankfully they liked what they saw.

Afterwards we settled down to tea, cake and a catch up! Been ages since I've seen them so they had lots of gossip to share and as ever we spent most of the time falling about laughing at somethings and being highly indignant at others! So lovely to see them.

They were just leaving as visitors no 2 arrived....my step dad and my auntie Maisie who's visiting from Kent. They stayed for tea and we stuffed ourselves with homemade lasagne, garlic bread and salad followed some time later! by a bowl of tiramisu. Yum!

All that socialising meant I was fit for nothing but climbing the stairs to bed when they left!
