Chinese Lanterns

Its into my garden again for todays blip.
This is my beautiful Chinese Lantern plant, I chose this shot as you can see both the delicate, pretty flower & also the first stage of the lanterns.
In the autumn the lanterns turn orange then, if you leave them on the plant, they disintegrate until all thats left is the skeleton of the lantern.
Its one of my favourite plants, it also spreads wildly so Ive had to put it somewhere that it doesnt matter how far it goes.
Ive just realised you can see my washing on the line in the back of the shot...please ignore that lol! :D
