Blue Ribbon Nephew

My eldest nephew was born when I was still in high school. My parents were away for the weekend and since this was before everyone had mobile phones, I shared the news that they were grandparents by wrapping our front door in blue ribbon. Since then there have been many blue ribbon moments in watching him grow up into such a fine man. Last night he came over for dinner, and we got to spend time sharing about our lives, dreams, and hopes. It was another blue ribbon evening.
