Activist New York

I am absolutely appalled by the just signed immigration ban - it's discriminatory, unlawful, unjust and more and more. It also comes at an enormous cost to the lives of all people directly involved as well as the society as a whole, for the lack of freedom it signals and the impact it has on business and science, directly and by extension. All those affected are in our thoughts (and protests). 

Our visit this afternoon to the Museum of the City of New York (an ode to this city, really) was unexpectedly timely, when its Activist New York exhibition showed an overview of the New York March culture (experienced first hand every day now at the moment) and the exhibition on the history of New York clearly highlighted the religious diversity that has been signature for this metropolis since its New Amsterdam days.
