Jacobsburg State Park ......

After working around the house this morning R and I went out to Jacobsburg State Park for a little fresh air. 

As usual we were looking for blue birds .... unfortunately we didn't see any until we were leaving!  And they were way up in the tree tops .... not photograph-able!

While at the park we wandered over to the frog pond.  We knew that there wouldn't be any frogs out as they have long since gone deep into the mud for the winter.  We were very surprised to see tadpoles swimming in the half frozen pond!  They probably won't survive once the pond fully freezes (unless they also burrow deep in the mud) as they need oxygen to survive.  This picture is of R getting his "non-blip" shot of the tadpoles. 

On the way home we witnessed a very scary road rage incident!  Now, I'm may not be the most patient of drivers but I know how to hold my temper.  Suffice to say we gave those cars a very wide berth!
