On the one hand ..and on the other ...

I attended a Celtic Media Festival dinner in the very grand surroundings of Cardiff City Hall many years ago but I did not remember the sheer richness and profusion of the statues which are everywhere , as are a rather eclectic selection of Victorian paintings.

Passing these two after the Joint Ministerial Committee at lunchtime today I thought they made an appropriate pairing for the day - Llewelyn last Prince of Wales on the one hand and on the other Henry Tudor ( Henry Vii) .
