The baths Buxton

Another early start and another lovely day out. I caught the train to Buxton to meet friends Elspeth and Elaine. We meet every few months and it's the mid point between us. We had a lot of catching up to do as we hadn't met up since the end of October. Elaine had done her homework and found a new cafe for us in the old baths called upstairs at Charlottes. It was lovely. We sat there the whole time starting with coffee then lunch then tea and fresh scones. Only one problem it was cold! We never stopped talking and it was so nice to see them. The photo is of the amazing ceiling of the old baths.
The extra is the old bath chair that was used with E and E chatting.
I got so cold coming home, the wind had got up. I waited on the platform in the cold at Buxton for 20 minutes and the train wasn't warm. Then again waiting on Salford Crescent platform. As soon as I got home kettle on and I had a lovely cup of soup with cheese and beans on toast it was so nice to feel warm again.
